  • LARRY - Disaster Cleanup

"I'd like to honor my husband for his personal sacrifice helping those who have suffered wildfire loss. Dropping everything to travel to different time zones, working 6 or even 7 days per week 12-14 hour days, being away from family, all are commendable and selfless on his part, in order to help others in their time of need. ~ Elizabeth"

  • WD - Mechanic

"I'm proud of the skill and knowledge my father has as a tractor mechanic. He worked with his hands all his life, providing for his family, and he is an expert in his field. Thanks for setting that example, Dad. ~ Larry"

  • ERNEST - Offshore Oil Roughneck

"My Paw-Paw was 100% on his own in the world from the age of 12.He eventually worked on offshore oil rigs as a roughneck, one of the most physically strenuous and dangerous jobs in the world. In retirement, he was a dedicated multi-acre vegetable farmer. I never once saw him lose his temper. He was a great example of Healthy Masculinity - everything a man can and should be. ~ Elizabeth Annette"

  • WILLIAM - Army enlisted

"My father was just a little boy when he went to fight for our country in Korea. He was 100% willing to sacrifice his life so that we could have a better life. His back was injured from a bomb, and others in his platoon died. I would like to recognize him because of the sacrifice he made to preserve and secure our freedom in America. I'm so proud of him! ~ Kelly"
